PASTOR'S MESSAGE
HAVE A WEALTH COVENANT WITH GOD
A covenant is a divine or spiritual agreement between two or three people. This agreement is always based on something they have both agreed on. For example, whenever two parties a man and a woman come into an agreement to love themselves until death separates them, they normally use a ring as a seal of the covenant they both have with each other. The seal of the covenant is usually the ring or any other object the two have agreed to use as a sign to show to other men and women that the lady and the gentleman have a covenant with each other. To enter a wealth covenant with God is to enter a success agreement with God. Everybody is expected to succeed in life but some people succeed more than others because they have a success covenant with God. In the book of Leviticus 26:9 God says “for I will have respect unto you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.” The existence of the wealth covenant guarantees first of all, a continuous supply of wealth which is exclusively yours. In addition to this, the covenant brings about multiplication and increase in whatsoever you are engaged in. Finally, being in a covenant that involves God means, He has pledged to keep His part of the bargain. He is not going to leave or forsake you. Some of the people who entered this type of pact with God include Abraham in Genesis 15:5-10. “And he brought him outside and said, Look now toward the heavens and count the stars-if you are able to number them. Then he said to him, So shall your descendants be. And he believed in the Lord, and He counted it to him as righteousness. And He said to him, I am the Lord, Who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldees to give you this land as an inheritance. But he said, Lord God, by what shall I know that I shall inherit it? And He said to him, Bring to Me a heifer three years old, a she-goat three years old, a turtledove, and a young pigeon. And he brought Him all these and cut them down the middle and laid each half opposite the other; but the birds he did not divide”. God promised that Abraham's descendants were going to be as many as the stars in the sky. Abraham presented a heifer of three years old, a she goat of three years old, a ram of three years old, a turtledove and a young pigeon to God in order to inherit those prophetic words. These items were requested from Abraham in those days because, the blood of Jesus had not yet been shared for mankind. They were tokens Abraham presented in order to establish a wealth covenant between himself and God. God confirmed his acceptance of the offerings by making a covenant with Abraham. In the covenant, God decided to give unto Abraham, the land from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates. Abraham's story is an indication of how one's life can be transformed from zero to becoming a multi- billionaire through wealth covenanting. Abraham used ram, goat and pigeon because the interceding blood of Jesus for redemption had not been made available. Those spiritual elements therefore represented the blood of Jesus. They however, ceased to be relevant after Jesus shed his blood. The blood is therefore what is needed to complete our part in the wealth covenant. In talking about entering into the wealth covenant with the blood of Jesus there is the need to establish the fact that we have gained a lot due to the blood. For example, we have salvation and forgiveness of sin as a result of the blood. In other words, the blood of Jesus has become our blood. It is this same blood that flows in us giving us life, and the ability to work and make money. The blood of Jesus as it flows through us produces sweat as we work. The product of our sweat is money. We can therefore confidently say that money represents the blood of Jesus. Rams, heifer, pigeons, fowls and other animals are no longer needed by God for covenants to be established. What is needed is the product of our sweat which is the money. Representing the blood of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. In 3 John 1:2 the bible says, “beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth. Prosperity or walking in divine financial freedom has a lot to do with one's level of spirituality. The bible further states in Isaiah 1:18 that “if you are willing and obedient, you shall eat the fruit of the land.” This promise is conditional judging by the word “if”. It is a matter of choice. You can decide either to choose wealth or poverty. In order to partake in a wealth covenant offering, one has to release a faith seed offering towards the promises of God in one's life. This faith offering must be one that is valuable. You just do not give for giving sake. Consider it deeply before you make the offer. In God's dealings with Moses in the book of Leviticus, grain, sin, thanks giving, atonement offering are being mentioned. This is an ample prove that the issue of establishing a wealth covenant offering with God is not new to charismatic believers. Wealth covenant offering with God, can transform your life from hardship into financial freedom. There are different kinds of covenants one can have with God through the blood of Jesus. One of the covenants can be located in Isaiah 43:4, where God says, because you are so precious to me, I will exchange your life with nations. God is ready and willing to exchange a whole nation's life for yours. If God honoured His covenant with Abraham as you read in the previous chapter then He is capable of doing the same thing in your life today. All you need now is to have faith and trust in God. One day a God fearing young man and a cobbler by profession came to me for counseling. He told me he had heard the voice of the Lord telling him, he will be a member of parliament in future. I asked whether he was into politics and he said yes. I told him that he can become whatsoever God said he will become. He questioned me on how this was going to be since he was just a shoe maker. I told him to release a faith covenant seed unto the altar of the Lord, and this would serve as a memorial before God. Besides, the offering will make a way for him to inherit the prophetic pronouncement. I also advised him to be active in the political party he was supporting. He followed my instructions and as I write the gentleman is now a member of parliament after serving a term as the assembly man of the area. God is a covenant-keeping God. If he lifted someone from being a mere shoe-maker into becoming a parliamentarian, what do you think God cannot do for you? According to the testimony of the shoemaker, we see that a wealth covenant has the potential of making one into a hero from a standpoint of nothing. Another covenant worth mentioning is the divine health covenant. This covenant will prevent the devil from attacking you. The Bible says God will not allow the sicknesses that came upon the Egyptians to come upon you because you have a health covenant with God. May you be a partaker of these blessings and have enough faith to walk in divine financial freedom..
